The only thing i don't like about Newman is the Tiges still have 2 byes to come including a multi-bye so for most who have Lids and possibly Adcock, you could be looking at a donut although Lids can go M/B so that might soften the blow.
On the upside, which i think definitely outweighs the downside, Tiges only play freo, cats, dogs, blues and dons x 2. They've got their pies and hawks games out the way as well as the saints and still have GC, port, BL to play.
The other thing i like is his efficiency, averaging 73dt, 102sc, very drummo like (without the injuries). If he improves his dt which history suggests he will, along with Richmond's improvement, his sc could either increase or at least maintain which would make him top 3 back this year i would imagine.
