Heads up and last hand I have 49h in the BB

SB calls and we see a flop of A24 - they shove and I quickly calculate all these things in a nanosecond as you do when you are in the zone

If they had an A they jam pre-flop
As they would with 22 or 44
If they had 35 they would check to my action

I put them on the 2 and said so and called - turned over K2 and the 4 holds and I win

Absolutely cursed at the moment

Jam A6 on the button with 3 and a half bigs the other week (was 3rd or 4th for chips), BB who has me just covered wakes up with queens and stacks me for FT bubble

Yesterday, final table bubble again

Get AK UTG with around 550k 30-60kbbs raise to 230k, loose bloke calls, says he's sick of me beating him, shit flop 944, he puts me all in, I tank then give it up knowing A9/K9/Q9 is in his calling/raising range, he shows A9, they rabbit it and I would've hit the king on the river, if I go all in preflop I win 🤬🤬🤬, I FT with 175k after folding my orbit (blinds went up) and losing the chip race, cop the BB after the high card and out right away, some bloke gets aces while I get 6s and nothing comes of it. Absolutely stinks at the moment whenever I've had a better run, 1 mistake and I'm ****** with nothing to show for it

You dug your own grave with that AK one. If you're not going to jam and leave yourself the option of folding the flop then you should min-raise. Otherwise just get it in with 9 BBs and have them call off as a 3-1 dog.

Yeah I know, perhaps I'm a bit low in confidence with flipping for my tournament life considering how bad I ran season 1 when I was 3-1/4-1 favourite nearly everytime and felt like I got mowed down 90% of the time

Came 7th yesterday, got better hands at the right time, potentially cost myself a caller when I had kings and ripped it, raiser showed tens and folded, I did make a big laydown with AQ with about 13-14 left, tight old chook opens 3x, bloke next to me with all the chips flats it, it's for about 35-40% of my stack, I feel my outs are gone here so give it up, bloke on the other side goes all in for not much more, they both call and check it down, jack high board

Old chook had KQhh, chip leader had AKss and missed his flush draw, short stack had AKos with me AQos, so my read on that one was correct to stay out of it

Ended up getting good pockets 3 times afterwards and took down the blinds/opens to stay afloat

Ended up losing 3 consecutive flips in the blinds (1 in the BB with like 12 left, the other 2 at the FT in my blind orbit) and out for another money bubble, did at least make a small profit on a FT LPS chop

Not playing badly, just need a little more luck

1st time in a long time a hand gut punched me

Final table with 215k in the small blind 30/60k with 7 left paying top 5

Look down at J7 - ok not great but - BB is short as is utg with 70k

Utg shoves and could have anything from 2 pictures to a big pocket pair - behind the button just calls and I felt he wanted to do more - I hadnt played against him before but a move he made had me thinking , button called as did I BB called

Flop is JT5 and I figured now or never and jammed 175k

BB folds - Behind the button asks for a count and I wither thinking over pair.

Button folds and we all turn over Jacks with JQ and original raiser JK

Turn is the magical 7

Until a ten on the river counterfeits me

Yes I am aware I was behind but there were other hands they could call with for a smidge more than 1BB - I did at least consider some may have better picture cards , some may have small pockets etc - I think it was counting the chips coming my way that gut punched me when they were taken away :D

Not even that bad a beat considering what I've copped so far this year, like the KJ had upto 5 outs and the QJ 3 outs, so 8 cards on the river you don't want to see

Reminds me of the last time I final tabled in a $110 game in late November

Called the big stacks shove with black jacks, he was trying to steal with ace rag

Flop is KQrag, turn another queen, can be counterfeited by a king on the river but the ace hits anyway

I reckon I ran at 10-15% since then til end of March when I'm way ahead preflop in 70-30s/80-20s, moved away to other games, been more consistent since but last 2 games haven't won flips at the crunch final 2 tables/final table

Blinds 800/1600 I'm BB with J's 4s
3 callers I check.
Flop 8s Q's 7d
Checks all round.
Turn is 9s I bet 2.4k
2 callers.
River is 10s to give me the straight flush 😃😃
🤔 I want to try get max value🤔
I chuck out 3.2k (16ish K in pot)
Next guy calls.. that's ok
Last guy to act tanks a little... Then chucks out 22k 😈 that's what I wanted 😈
I shove my last 38k in..
First guy folds raiser calls and turns over 6d 7s

And I take down a nice little pot 😈

ANZAC Day game I did ok

Though I had so many second best hands that I was down to 32k blinds 2/4k ante 2k needing good cards to shove

Pocket 33 - well ok shove called by KJ and double up. Deep breath

Get moved and it's like a different life and run it up to 600k

Yeah I don't think I'm getting away from that

The table roared

Final Table blinds 15/30k small stacks hanging on Points Leader is a short stack I'm BB and a middling stack

Points leader shoves his last 50k called by Button big stack - and just before he did this SB made a move towards his stack and then pulled it back and tanked - they were also a reasonable short stack ie 85kish - after 2 minutes ( which to be fair is a normal think time for this elderly player ) decided to call

Points Leader short stack has AA - Button has A6C and SB has 22

Flop is QKQ turn Q

AA still good 22 in trouble and A6 has some comfort in running 2nd

Until the River 2

campaigner of a game...

Blinds 500/1000

I call.. 10s,J's BB raises to 2000 I call.

Flop Q's Ks 8h

BB bets 3k I call

Turn is 9d I've hit my straight with chance of strong flush.
BB bets 12k I only have 16k left so go all in..

He calls and has AJ(off suit)

River is a 10 and not a spade.

🖕🖕🖕

Last night blinds 1/2k BB with AQh utg1 raises to 5k utg2 goes to 11k banana shoves 19k

I figure with 3 raise actions I'm behind - stacks are fairly similar so no reason to get into battle and I fold

Utg1 calls the 19k utg2 jams 65k and I put them on AK at worst and am happy with my fold. Utg1 folds reluctantly

Utg2 turns over AKc

Here is the runout. Guess what banana had
