from what i understand that is the injury that he did against the kangas and carlton thought that they might be able to nurse him through the year with it and then have the op after the season.

apparently they cant do it like this and they have to get it done straight away.

very unlucky with injuries this guy.

CP, remember that Carlos is on the rookie list and can only play reserves footy. Someone will have to be placed on the Long Term injury list for him to be elevated. Seeing that Livo and T-Bird will be back in 6-8 weeks, it is doubtful that either one of these guys will be placed on the LT injury list.

I thought the same thing, news reports had it an ankle.

But as i has said at the time why did he go down holding his knee for an ankle injury?

Adam Goodes carried a similar injury through all of last year. I'm guessing they took the punt as we had just lost T-Bird and decided it would be worth the risk.
