When Brooke signed Trent's permission slip to play this season I must admit I got giddy with anticipation and had a fizz in my loins. You see I had been paying attention over the past 24 months and knew what was coming. And so it has come to pass, Trent is beyond cooked but selfishly continues to put his hand up to play (probably to avoid chores at home) and Tuggers continue to persist with him due to no talented youf being present on their books.

Voters this week noticed Brooke's lesser half lackluster performance in which he was toweled up by Cripps and the Carlton's young exciting midfield though the Tugboats managed to win the game despite their former captain's s**t truck performance (which really is an indictment on Carlolton but thats a story for a different time).

Cockchin has really emerged as a contender for the Rocca this season and moves in to outright second on the ladder flying high in elite company with names like Ben Brown
