BAILEY Smith has moved into the lead in the race for the the Sharp EIT Solutions AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award, while Gold Coast skipper Noah Anderson has jumped to second place at the halfway point of the season.

Smith picked up eight votes in Geelong's win over West Coast in round 12, moving him to 59 for the year.

Bailey S Myth, playing the bottom team, who concede the highest points on average, and delivering the ball to just about the most efficient forward line in the caper, scored twice himself, from easy receives. 6 of his other 36 disposals ended in Geelong scores. Which means 30 Bailey S Myth disposals did not result in Geelong scores. Against the bottom team.

When they start giving out flags for midfielders getting 28 uncontested disposals and spraying the vast of them pin the tail on the donkey style, then we might backfire the thread. Until then he is just another uncontested beast who does only a moderate amount of damage.
