He's a complete knob, the hole shaft. 🍆
The Cotton On deal had been in the works for years, every supporter could see that.
Now he is dumping on us.🖕
Toby Greene is still my most hated player in the AFL, but the inst@w***er is moving up to 2nd.
I reckon he’s even passed Toby, but he’s still behind Fritsch

Never liked him.

- Massive FIGJAM

- Complete narcissist and totally in love with himself. When’s his 6038th instagram post or story showing how ripped he is?

- That obnoxious “Ice in the veins” goal celebration. Game wasn’t won at the time he kicked it, was massively arrogant and obnoxious.

- Overly mouthy on field for a good but inconsistent player

Thought this when he played for us and still think it now he’s at the Cats.

I’d say most of us have nothing but respect for our current past players at other clubs - Macrae, Cordy, Daniel, Lipinski have nothing but respect from our supporters.

Some may dislike Dunkley and fair enough, but he hasn’t potted us or shown any disrespect since he’s left.

If Smith wasn’t such an ego maniac or hadn’t taken this little swipe, I dare say he’d be viewed in the same light as Macrae, Cordy, Daniel, Lipinski - especially after he produced one of the best finals series I’ve seen from a Dogs player in my time supporting them.

He should have some ****ing respect and say nothing about his former club.

Indeed.
I think the bloke fits this description pretty well:

8 Symptoms of Histrionic Personality Disorder

Individuals with these characteristics consistently engage in behaviors designed to attract the attention of others, whether they are viewed as a hero who deserves exaltation or a victim who needs rescue. To that end, they exhibit elevated levels of emotional dysregulation and use emotional displays to attract the audience, and attention, they crave. According to the DSM-5, histrionic personality disorder is typically first exhibited in early adulthood and may be diagnosed when five of these eight symptoms are exhibited:

  1. Uncomfortable when they are not the center of attention.
  2. Engages in inappropriate sexually seductive or provocative behavior to gain attention.
  3. Displays rapidly shifting and superficial expression of emotions.
  4. Consistently uses their physical appearance to draw attention to self.
  5. Uses an excessively vague style of speech that lacks detail.
  6. Engages in theatrical, performative behaviors and exaggerated expressions of emotion.
  7. Is suggestible and easily influenced by others around them.
  8. Considers relationships to be more intimate than they actually are.

I just hate how we got reamed on the trade.

Geelong traded in bad faith. Andrew Mackie is a total farkwit with a massive ego.
They knew he was coming yet did nothing to satisfy us that even close to his real world value.

When Geelong supporters go on about him, I just say, 'wow the best pick 20 in the history of the game, former top 10 pick, 23 yo & 100 games, what a bargain'

While probably true, and the same goes for the Dunkley trade, it's sort of what the trade period has become. Can't trade players places without their consent, so it sort of becomes out of your hands when they choose where they want to go. Its somehow better to lose players in free agency where the AFLs secret formula magically creates top picks for whatever scrub that wants to leave.

We probably do the same if the situation is reversed. We reamed Collingwood pretty badly with Treloar, once we had total bargaining power in that deal.

I love the quote that mentioned that before the season started some at the club thought he was a chance to find an excuse not to play against us.

Guess he would look even more like a clown if he did, oh well!

Was there a picture of Bailey there in Psychology Today? Because this sums him up perfectly.

Correct. Form the HS:
"Some Dogs figures have wondered out loud if Smith would find a way to sidestep that clash against his former club but he is in red-hot form and appears keen to play."

.
I think this is why Bont chose to lean into the whole situation. He obviously knows Sniff well, and by saying he’s looking forward to the Round 11 clash with Geelong, he knows it’ll be playing on Sniff’s mind. With his well-documented pre-game anxiety issues, it adds pressure and makes it harder for Sniff to skip the game without it looking bad.

We have to win though. Losing isn’t an option.

Spot on, It was a major headline Sunday morning.

Brilliant by the Bont.

Interesting isn’t it, we were surely overdue to have a home game against the Cats, and the controversy with Cotton and Smith, would have had interest in both games which the AFLwould have loved, yet Geelong seems to have wrangled just a home game. 🙄

Some of the posters here should read the opening post. The reason for the thread is like or not there was going be a heap discussion about BS so we may have it in the one place and not pollute other threads. if you do not like it to not contribute even better still do not even open it.

Fair call. Just wanted to have a dig at the instaflog. Which I guess in itself justifies the existence of this thread
