I just cooked myself 2 tins of heinz baked beans, using the same logic I use for easy mac, 2 min noodles and mi goreng (that one is never enough)

Just had Heinz baked beans with sweet chilli sauce on toast, with lots of butter.
BBQ, Sweet Chiili, Ham are all good, especially on toasted sangas with a little cheese.

Been in Leeds a few weeks now and still can't get my head around the "Baked Beans and Chips" that seems so popular here. It almost puts me off eating the pub when the person next to me gets that!

The Brits also treat "fried egg and chips" as a dinner meal.

Bacon and eggs make up breakfast. Add baked beans, and it also becomes dinner.

Most Aussies will eat baked beans on their own, usually with bread or toast.

I'm not a Pom and unfortunately I didn't discover HP until I was in my mid 20s. I can't complain though, before that it was mum's homemade sauce where ever I happened to be in Australia at the time.

Baked Beans =

Traditional Sunday breaky - eggs, bacon & tomato cooked on BBQ with a side serve of BBs. Eggs and Tomato covered with cracked black pepper and Worstershire (sp?) sauce. Oh yeah !!
