Well, most other teams have now signed up a ball sponsor of some sorts and I was wondering if anyone knows if our club is close to a deal.

At the moment I gather we just use whatever the AFL default is. Considering our financial situation, the money would come in handy, and you would think that they would have one of the usual suspects onboard by now.

Haven't heard/seen anything yet-- but in any event, the default is a plug for the afl.com.au website, and would remain so until Geelong (or any other yet-to-be-sponsored team) secures ball sponsorship.

Until we learn how to kick the ball properly to each other, it would be more appropriate for Geelong to have "L" plates on the football.

afl.com.au might be rather appropriate.Like Geelong,it only works well once in a blue moon.
