Pretty embarrassing to be part of the BFL last night.THe RDFL guys came all dressed in RDFL polos and black pants, the Ballarat boys jumped off the bus(which was late) in whatever they wanted and did not look like a team, and you pride yourself on being a proffessional league Mr Ward!
I'm sure the BFL are terribly embarrassed about whatever the hell you are talking about. Its a damn shame.

Must have been some good polo tops to make the BFL look embarrassing, were they Lacoste. As for the bus being late to whatever thing was on last night, well thats just not acceptable.

The Marsh could only register 1.4 10 on their own dung hill. A 20 goal hiding. They really are the bye.

True, Sunbury boys mustve had a pretty cruisey day, however the problem is Redan just demolished Melton by an even greater margin, the team that Sunbury just snuck home against.

Sunbury is going no where til they stop rewarding bad football/ers. Plenty of talent, but the team will explode and tear itself apart soon enough.

I don't think they will care too much, this is just a practise game for the BFL, the real under 18 clash is this weekend against Geelong. League clothing etc is given out this week before the real match.

Melton at Melton are a different team than Melton away.

And who are the players getting a game that should not? There are some very good footballers still to come into Sunba. The team has not lost a game and is on top of the ladder - not certain a winning team will tear itself apart.

If you've been watching and don't know who at least one of the players is then you're just as bad as the coaches and selection panel.. thats if you're not one of them already?.... The players know who it is, the supporters can see it, don't see how the coaching staff dont.

Do agree that Melton are better home compared to away.. but 150pts better?

They dropped Salberg and Hurst and brought in some kids who all did well. Still have Barham, Carriss and Petran to come back in. The signs are good. Name the name.

Lakers in 2 weeks will give them a good indication where they are at.

the 3 young kids done really well. one of them has played every game bar 1 when he was unavailable. and has done everything the coach has asked of him.
i say good on serge for giving them a go , they haven't let him down as yet.. as for sahlberg, needs to stop running around like a pretty boy when he is on the ground. has some ability ,but needs too get rid of the pretty boy running style..

Don`t forget Jamie Lobb has to come in also Hurst only got dropped as he had not trained for 2 weeks due to his honeymoon he tore it up in the reserves on the weekend like any senior player should

Great performance by the BFL to down Geelong today and set up a chance for the title next year. Seems like the players enjoyed it, and there was a good spirit in thed rooms.

I don't mind them playing the young kids, i think that was a good idea, especially up against a weaker side last match.

You want the main name, Rod Sharp. Not manning up, frustrating supporters and plenty of players, trying to play outside receiver roles both down back and when he went into the midfield. He's a strong body, he should be playing tight on his men, winning contested ball and feeding out to the quicker and better skilled runners in the side like Smith/Millward and putting on blocks/shepards. I dont think he is a two's player, i think he is a player that needs to play a different role and stick to it and he'll be handy.

Cullinan/O'Riley are the other two. Cullinan is just getting in young Robbo's way at the moment who one on one no one is stopping, get his fat ass out of the forward 50, he's not having any impact that one of these young kids couldnt do just as much, and Robbo will have a field day if he's left one out with space. O'Riley is trying but he seems a bit slow, a bit unsure, and doesnt hit contests hard, probably a lot due to the nasty injury last year but still if he's not going to be able to cut it, then a tough call needs to be made.

Well done to the BFL yesterday. Drove up yesterday expecting to see GFL win pretty easily but after being jumped 7 goals to 1 in the first it was always going to be tough. Had our chances in the last but only managed 1.8 and in all honesty it probably would've been a tad unjust if Ballarat had've lost.

Pretty disappointing crowd yesterday, is that because no one's interested in interleague or do most Ballarat crowds get small crowds?? Seemed like there was nearly as many Geelong people there yesterday.

could be one of three reasons
1- we all thought that GFL would smash the BFL
2- noone really cares about interleague anymore its just a load of s**t
3- The eastern block teams supporters could not be bothered supporting the BFL as they really do not support them so why travel all the way to Ballarat

Surely GFL played kids or something? cause i have seen games from both leagues this year and the GFL standard is miles in front of BFL. Did the good players have a week off?. That is what used to happen, coaches would rest there guns or say that there injured, Frankly the guys on huge coin to play for nothing would'nt even bother, and there clubs would'nt want there guns to get injured. I think INTERLEAGUE will be gone next year no crowds no one gives a s**t. just like it bhappen in the AFL any thoughts gents:D:D

GFL probably has greater depth and hence greater standard of home and away games, but the BFL's best 22 is still very very good

and the BFL streamed it on the internet
