I don't understand you, are you saying that Brisbane is always dry, or that during this drought Brisbane has been dry? If the first, then Brisbane Airport averages 120.9mm in January. Sydney averages 102.8mm. Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne all average about 50mm or less. So it is the wettest capital.
If the second, then yes for the last couple of years SEQ has been in drought. But now, that drought has been broken. So now it's time to start discussing how Cricket Australia can minimise rain interruptions in Brisbane in the future.
