I find it disgraceful that as soon as we lose a game a number of "supporters" stick into our players and talk them down.
If we had won today, there would only be praise for our players

We played one shit quarter but look for positives because we are on our way back, you just can't expect a smooth ride on the way there.

Scapegoating/slagging off at/denigrating/abusing individual players is as weak as water in my opinion.

What else are you supposed to think when it plays out on the field in real-time. These are simply things that can be improved upon, it's not slagging off.

The guys were rattled because of the outing of the Guneff in the press this week.

Hopefully they don't let that sort of rubbish corporate Bukkake spoil their game, and they remember that they are here to play footy not worry about Cardboard Boxes, or it's 6 months forward 6 months back.

Judd had a mild concussion. Any other player Carlton player would've sat on the bench the whole game. Even though he wasnt 100% he still was our leading tackler.. Fisher hasn't played one good game this year. His game today was horrible. A forward that cant kick strait and cant kick more than 45metres should'nt be a forward... He has no defensive pressure at all...

He looked like he was hampered by something. Mainly Andrew Welch.

But as the game wore on he looked to be labouring and at one stage he came on and went off again within 2-3 minutes. Was he carrying something into the game?

I think that was a piss poor effort in the first quarter probably our worst quarter for the year but because we are a better side this year we didnt get smashed. Does anyone think we were a bit complacent at the start abd didnt show enough respect to the bombers coz that is what it looked like. Bombers players absolutely smashed us early and we had too many fumbles and too many passengers in the first quarter. Juddy definately looked injured with or without a concussion fisher needs to be traded coz hes just shit we need to bring anothe tall marking forward in now coz we are stuffed if fev hurt himself and we are very close to a one man team. The second half of the season will be very interesting ther is a lot of tough games a nd im fearing we might be found out there is a possibility we wont win another game this year but god i hope im wrong.

First issue is Chris Judd.
Sure he might be at 80%
Sure he might have had concussion
Sure Andrew Walsh would/ could have done a job on him.
We all know that we wont have a massive impact til 09'

Fourth term comeback:
Isnt it nice to see that we keep fighting 6 goals down in greasy condition?
Without the influence of Judd?
Stevens stepped up IMHO and a couple others really put their bodies on the line.

Team Structure:
I still believe we are a long way off, and finals are still a bonus and not a season objective. 9th-11th is a big tick for the season! Rucks are developing, defense is starting to meld, mids ar elooking great but forward line needs work. Fisher has been in bad form, yes, but realistically is only a 3rd tall forward. Absolutely essentail to find another forward to fill the role of CHF, Hartlett or whomever it may be.

All in all Kudos to the bombers for the win, they had a simple game plan of booting it forward, which, duh, works well in the wet. The game plan worked becasue we dont have a floating defender/ 3rd man up. They were also a lot faster than us which we saw last time we played them aswell. They match up on us well.

Better team won on the day.

I just wish more people could be rational. The emotional stuff (drop him, them, her) should be kept at the footy and not on these boards

Says it all really, remember who we are.

We are carlton, we support and are loyal to our team no matter what.
If you want to call for heads to roll and single out players/blame losses on them become a richmond support and while your at it cut your membership up because your not worthy to support the CFC.

There were many reasons why we just lost today but turning on our own is not the answer, no excuse.
