A former classroom assistant who allegedly made a sex tape with a Belfast schoolboy that ended up on a pornographic website could face up to five years in prison for ‘abuse of trust’ if charged and convicted.

Jo O'Neill-McBurney (21), from Crumlin, Co Antrim, was suspended from St Mary’s Christian Brothers Boy’s Grammar School in west Belfast after a 30-minute sex video, featuring her and a teenager, thought to be a 16-year-old, emerged on the internet.

A couple of things though.

Firstly, bonedogging the teacher (in this case, teacher's assistant) has to be one of the premier fantasies of a boy(+girl?) growing up. It's a classic, I know it was for me. I also know why it didn't ever happen to me. I never had the chance. There was always gossip about one of the music teachers having a one-nighter with a student, several years before. It made me wonder though.

How common is it for someone to have a genuine crack at it? Did you or anyone ever have a real chance? How does it even happen in real life?

Second, the double-standards associated with banging teachers. why is the reaction so different with male teacher/female student in the same situation?
To me it is more gross, but I can't say exactly why.

What makes it even more of a double standard (and talking about teens in high school here not primary school teachers) is more often then not when it's a female teacher she initiated it, yet for the males it's they gave in to female students flirting. Now neither is acceptable, but in 90% of cases the male teacher cops a greater penalty for not doing the right thing and saying No. With the female teachers being able to play the remorse line and usually cop a slap on the wrist for initiating it? WTF?

Oh, and like every male who's ever been to school there were the female teachers I lusted after. No such luck though. It'd be story you could tell to others throughout your life and bask in their jealousy. It may be wrong, but damn missing out on that wrong.

She's well fit. Looks like she has just shot up... Although that's not entirely a bad thing is it?

Lived in Belfast for about 8 months. The girls up there were well keen but I had a mrs the whole time. Held strong. Deep down I know that was the right thing to do but man there were quite a few fine girls who I would love to go back and locate if it were possible.

My wife hooked up with one of her teachers at the races when she was in yr12, i think a sneaky pash and no more (she is probably lying). We had one teacher who would always shag a student a the valedictory dinner, he was renowned for it, did it every year. Double standard comes about purely from guys wanting to all do it and us celebrating the fact and girls being jealous of other girls doing it. Plus we are always more protective of our girls (think of the conversation with the father

I've heard many former students after only a year or two years out of high school banging their former teachers. Both girls with their male teachers and boys with their female teachers.

I know that there's nothing technically wrong with it since they're no longer at the school but a part of me still feels grossed out by the fact that while the teachers were teaching these students they were probably thinking "I can't wait until they finish high school so I can f**k them"
