When we last met in September,
Twas 2016...remember?
We didnt have a snowflakes chance,
Until footsteps Darling s**t his pants.
Some may say history does not repeat
However tonight it would be super sweet,
If the Sons of the West and all the lads,
Do it again for all the Dads

Your banners are very long,
Which i think is really great,
But think about the environment,
Such a waste of paper and sticky tape.

Writing short banners is not my strength,
And when have you ever heard complaints about length?
Besides old mate, you know it's true
My banners are only keyboard poo

Banners are virtual in this odd age,
No need to stress about the size of the page
Our words could fill the entire ground
No waste and ready for a second go around
I am not concerned by the size of the card,
It's just that grassman tries so hard,
It's all in fun the bear i like to poke,
But never fear it's a running joke.

Lloyd's effort was symbolic of the whole side's approach to the game.
He had the first goal on the platter but found a way to butcher it.

In the end we reluctantly scored a goal (in the 2nd quarter) and it just happened to be Lloyd.

Perhaps by then we'd exhausted the playbook on how to screw up golden opportunities? Haha, not so! We found quite a few more ways as the game progressed.
