kind of agree with you paddy but i am hopeful the likes of wiggins and sporn can show something in 2006. it was only 12mths ago that most on this board pencilled sporn in as a permanent member of our team and said he would be 200game player for us. Maybe its wishful thinking on my behalf but i reckon wiggins and sporn could have breakthrough years in 2006.

Mate it would save a lot of headaches if they went on and had good seasons but the fact remains they are average at this stage and have 1 year left to prove something to Pagan.

Wiggins works so hard, maybe up forward is his go as he has played well for the Bullants in that role. Sporn looks very good at times but not often enough to warrant any more than 1 more year unless he "breaks through". 12 months ago our list was poor, easy enough to have Sporn in the best 22 then but now we will have some kids coming on board through the draft and players like Simpson, Carrazzo and Bentick pushing ahead of him leaving Sporn in limbo.

Happy enough for these two to stay on the list and hopefully play well to continue at the CFC but they are still a long, long way off the standard required to be a good AFL player.

The same can be said for Luke Livingston. It would have to be his last chance. The boy just has no idea.

He has a 1 year deal and will need to improve to get a new contract.
Recruiting Saddington and retaining Lance who might also be down back this year will make it pretty tough for him.

I dont see him being here after 2006. Good bloke who gives his best but seems beyond him.
