1st Question - You cant win them if you are holding up the ladder for the next 10 years.
2nd Question - Trent is fine and thankful that he was the #2 selection in his draft instead of #1

Commiserations on the expected 2 2nd rounders coming your way in the trade period, Hope its enough to start the re build Aph
Trents not fine, he's far from fine.

The blokes got mental scars in the big games more than Richo in front of goal.

Jack Dyer would be turning in his Grave with the amount of Princesses you've got running around!

Cotchins first act as captain was to refuse to wear the great mans number.

He's most recent act as captain was to not show up to a final.

LOL - Carlton Fan :p

I would much rather be in my position supporting Richmond for the next 5 years and enjoying the 'Regular Season' Wins Thanbeing in your position Carlton Fan watching what you will be in the next 5 years of your rebuild - Enjoy the next few years , Im sure we will continue the same banter for a few years to come

THE_GUN, you can stay in you position of continual failures and you continue to endure the lack of success for that has been happening for the last 35 years. In the years since your last GF win (1980), Carlton have won 4 flags (81,82,87,95). Keep on bringing up home and away stats and the terrible Carlton teams of the last 15 years and the wooden spoons, even with the wooden spoons, Carlton have still been more successful than Richmond.

You don't go into a season only wanting regular season wins, and waiting for that, you want the wins so you can see FINALS WINS, but you haven't had a finals win since 2001. You can have 100 years of home and away wins, but without FINALS and GRAND FINALS, those wins mean nothing.:thumbsu:

Carlton is a team that has endured the wooden spoons and the draft penalties and the myriad of other recruiting and draft problems, not to mention the financial problems as well, and we are still more successful than you. We still have more finals wins than you, we beat you in 2013, throughout history we are still better than you, you can take your 2015 win over the Hawks and a Dustin Martin 30 touch game here and there, and your 70,000 members, but the facts are, that Richmond are still less successful than Carlton, and Carlton almost folded.

Yes, Carlton are on the bottom now, but we are realistic of our position, and are remedying the situation with a proper plan, finally. The Richmond idea of "We make finals, therefore we deserve to win, because we haven't won since 2001", That Richmond way of thinking means you'll never be successful, because you earn success you don't have it handed to you.

Think about the facts before bringing up more rubbish with your Black and Yellow glasses.

Are the rumours true, and the 'anything collingwood' recruiting rule continues ?

Craig McRae just quit the pies.
Look, we tried Mick Malthouse, Gavin Brown, Alan Richardson, David Buttifant, Dale Thomas, Greg Swann .... they really haven't worked out too well.

We figure there must be some talented Collingwood people out there so we are looking at Craig McRae, probably because he is more Brisbane than Collingwood. Josh Fraser has also thrown his hat in the ring but that might be for the role that McRae is looking at.

Trent Cotchin has the leadership skills of a the previous three Australian Prime Ministers and the mental aptitude of Greg Norman at the '96 Masters.

If you look up flat track bully in the dictionary there's a photo of Trent Cotchin.
