This site is designed to talk about the everything Sydney and AFL related. It's not a gateway into getting tickets. I've already messaged a mod to lock this thread, because lets be honest, as soon as you get a ticket you won't be coming back. Not just you, a few of the others as well. Quite alarming the number of posters who've been inactive for a long period or only just signed up within the last week or so are taking interest in the site. This thread in particular.

Im guessing you have grand final tickets yes? How would you feel if after missing out on 05/06 you then tired to get tickets for 2012 but you also missed out. How shattered would you be. Im just trying to find myself a ticket so that i can go to the grand finale of the sport that i love the most!

Or at least make sure they can provide some kind of proof or evidence before handing barcodes over.

It is patently unfair that a member of a competing club misses out due to an unfair allocation. (All Sydney members who wanted tickets received tickets, whilst a few thousand Hawks have missed out, and there are a few thousand unused Swans memberships, which will be sold to general public later on).

(I have my tickets, but the system is unacceptable. The lessor of two evils is to enable supporters to see their team).

Not the case (who wanted tickets received tickets). I was overseas at time of ballot and missed out on a priority 1 registration. So I am still without 2x tickets. Consider giving to Swans members first before any Hawks (ie me). More Red and White the better. Go SWANIES

Or buy a membership, the rest of us have to fork out money for it, even when times are tough, but i love my club

I just got my MCC restricted membership this year and i am a 19 year old at uni, living in an apartment who has a job at safeway. I'm a bit low on cash atm. So a swans membership was a bit out of the question. Please guys if anyone does send me a Barcode i can message them photos of me with all my swans memorabilia and scarfs etc.

I'm sure they'll find ways. Just all the new posters touting tickets and the likes doesn't sit right with me tbh. No harm in looking out for some of the regulars.

All of my mates are MCC members and after waiting 19 years for it I didn't want to let the opportunity slip. I'm sure that when i leave UNI and have a financially stable job that I will be purchasing memberships for years to come!

I would love these two barcodes, but I'm not sure how easy it would be for me to transfer funds from overseas. Normally would ask my parents to use their accounts, but that would destroy the whole surprise.

I also work at a supermarket, low hours, study at uni and still became a member of the Swans with monthly payments, it is 95 bucks for a concession. The reason the some Bloods fans are going to the GF is because they supported the club, became a member and I bet nearly all of them were members in 2011 too. Win/lose, without the loyalty of the members, the club would be under financial uncertainty. THIS IS THE SYDNEY SWANS WAY OF SAYING THANKS TO ALL 2012 MEMBERS WHO CAN MAKE IT TO MELBOURNE- GRAND FINAL TICKET!
