I just saw Barlow walk out of a coffee shop with Cuddles and Schwabby. I'm worried guys.

Well you start a stupid thread you get a stupid post. As if barlow's going anywhere, oh no the coach didnt mention him in his presser quick sound the alarm he's being traded. I cant believe people are even discussing it.

Ross Lyon was on ABC 720 Sportstalk this morning.
I'm sure I heard him utter the word Barlow in there. He stuttered a bit and paused to think for a second, but I'm certain he said Barlow.
barlow the new goddard?
Maybe they're trying to teach Grover how to spoil. Then he can start practicing on real forwards, either that or retire
I think Barlow got a mention in the radio interview. Something like "and obviously Barlow is..."
At least Palmers gone so Barlow's leg should be safe.

Very poor comment !!!!.
Groves might not be the AA fullback, but he has been a rock for years. He is a player who always earns his pay packet.
Harsh, probably, but he is the new Shane Parker. While he can still be in the team unfortunately it's indicative of where we are at.
What crap.
If we had 22 players who gave what he gives, week in and week out, we would have a flag by now.
Not everyone is elite. He is dour and uncomprimising. Yes, he makes some skill errors, but they are normally when we are so far under the pump and the whole backline is floundering.
To label him like that is just ignorant.
although has stopped kicking almost entirely meaning his mistakes (particularly turning the ball over with less than a minute left in the quarter) were reduced, such that he was playing in the vein of a Taz or a Presty. The difference between Grover and Taz and Presty is that they don't leak. So your mate doesn't attack and doesn't defend well, has he been a servant to the club? sure ok I'll give you that.I dont believe my opinion is ignorant. Maybe your opinion has a rose coloured tint to it. I have been anti this guy for over 3 years now. Previously he was an attacking defender who had a long (albeit inprecise) kick. He was not overly defensive. In 2010, he missed a fair amount of the year and we looked solid. This year he was back with avengencealthough has stopped kicking almost entirely meaning his mistakes (particularly turning the ball over with less than a minute left in the quarter) were reduced, such that he was playing in the vein of a Taz or a Presty. grover is better than you are giving him credit for. he was rarely beaten last year. however with the expected improvement of faulks and anthony i would think groves may eventually lose his spot next year
Was solid at the start of the year but definitely wained towards the end. He often got bags kicked on him towards the end of the year which is disappointing for a senior player. Everyone gives the excuse he was asked to do jobs he shouldn't have been asked. ie Betts/Milne/Rioli etc. But if he can't take smalls and is 3rd/4th in line for talls his role is pretty limited.
With everyone fit i don't see a spot in the 22 for him next year. But i thought the same thing heading into this year.
Credit to the man, he's had longevity in a fast moving game despite not being a superstar.
lol too many light hearted comments being taken seriously here. The players are currently on holidays ffs. So a joke about Barlow opposed to Grover at a non-existent training session is gonna result in WW3?
FWIW Grover is an integral part of our defence. If Johnson/Duff/Ibbo et al had just one ounce of the guts/heart/desire that Grover possesses, they would be much better footballers.
Pretty disrespectful to a guy who has been through hell and back with this club.
He has been hung out to dry through being monstered by the likes of Plugger, Gherig, Hall, Richo etc, etc.
And now he gets gigs chasing the likes of Cyril Rioli.
I tell you what though matey. He bleeds purple and ALWAYS leaves everything out on the park.
Maybe you should rock on down to training and give him some pointers on the art of spoiling, as you are obviously an expert.
