Barnaby's Age

Just wanted to confirm French's age with the folk who know best. A fellow Blues supporter based in New York was talking to Barnaby when he was over there and he said that the AFL.com profile on him was wrong and he was only 24 years old. How long has he been around? Trading for a 24 year old ruckman is good sense but a 27 year old is not so hot even if he does fill a hole.

Can anyone fill me in?

He's turns 27 in November, and only started playing football in 1998, so isn't anywhere near as worn out as a 27 year old Josh Fraser will be.

He used to be a championship rower too, so he's got the strength and athleticism.

Probably still 5-6 years as he hasn't really played many full seasons of football. He's spent a lot of time sitting on the bench.
