Barrass has always had the talent.. Just a bit of a slacker. Came into pre-season overweight a few seasons back. When he's fit and running, he brings tall athletic and physical timber. More of a man to man shutdown guy compared to roaming Gov, but he can also intercept with the best of them.

Eagles 2019

NicNat, Shuey, Yeo, Sheed, Gaff?, Gov, Barrass, Darling, Kennedy, Hurn, Ryan, Rioli, Jetta, Venables, Cripps, Duggan, Sheppard, Vardy, Redden, Hutchings, Masten, Schofield

Tough 22 to beat.

Nicnat probably won’t play, gaff could go, venables still developing, Vardy no A grader, Masten no A grader. It’s a decent squad though, so I see no reason we couldn’t challenge again next year with the likes of Cole, Duggan, venables, Rioli and Ryan all super young with improvement expected. Wouldn’t be surprised to see OAllen really push into the 22 next year also.

Would love to nab Kelly.

Not sure on Gaff. Missing the premiership might change his mind.

NicNat will be a part of the side pushing to September.

Vardy was a gun today. Have him as the backup ruck and third tall forward.

Masten was quite good today. Every good side needs his type.

Venables has been very good late in the year, expect a good 2019.

Don’t know enough about the younger WC players to comment apart from Brander who went high in the draft.
