Barry Hall - pathetic!

St. Kilda fans musta went bezerk today. They start to come back after starting pretty well, are within about 14-15 points by memory, kick the ball into attack, Gaspar gets the ball and before he even starts Hall gives up!! He was only a meter away as well!

He lets Gaspar run up the ground without even attempting to put pressure on him - Richmond kick a goal and the game is over.

That was just bloody pathetic, and there is no excuse for not chasing or putting pressure on.

Im not saying St. Kilda woulda necessarily won the game, but after Richmond kicked that goal they had no chance at all.

it was a good contest all day between gas and hall id say it came out even in the end altho his miss in the 2 qtr i think it was and we took the ball down the other end and kicked a goal was a deflating moment in the game if there was ever one for the saints.
but full credit to the saints they tried hard all day and never gave in.

well i was at today's match (in me CFM's and a skirt and the biggest bastard that angered me today was flipping GEHRIG GRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH if he wasn't a player i'd chop his head off as for Elliot well he's an ok guy and im not one of them Elliot baggers but jeez he really showed he was not a footballer today hmm and the other dude who usually cops StKildas flak...Justin Peckett well today i thought Frankie did really well and seeing he was down back with idiot Gehrig for a while he basically had to do it all on his own and did quite well. Thommo i thought was good as usual hmmmmm and Spider well he shoulda knocked a few more Tigerz heads off with Barry i think ah and i wanna kno why Stevie Milne was on the bench for so long and ahhh why did they take my baby Leon Cameron off?

Um Spidey dear. I don't know if you noticed this but Matthew Richardson only kicked the one goal today and only had a handful of posessions. Fraser Gehrig played on him for the whole game and did really well in keeping Richo down!

For this reason I thought Gehrig was one of the Saints better players!

Gehrig and Hall were two of the better ones today. Richardson barely got a sniff on Gehrig (admittedly Richardson was underdone) but to say Gehrig was bad is just plain ignorant.
If Hall had kicked reasonably straight he would have had 5.2 rather than 3.4. Not a bad days work in an easily beaten side. Can't say I saw where he gave up chasing, but he's not alone there.
