For those who have Barry Hall, they will be lookin to trade him out

How many will be going a straight trade to Brad Johnson and hoping he will come good.....?

Is Riewoldt a good option?

How many will go someone cheaper and pocket the cash.........?

I thinking of going Riewoldt, I have no doubt he will go on to average over 100

Thoughts?

And also who will you be trading him out for...?

im holding barry for 1 week waiting for the high B/E players to drop a little bit more. EG gary abblet needs 144 not to lose any money. alot of players still have high break evens

my plan Hall/Mckinley
then put rioli on the field, or mckinley
then sell nathan Jones upgrade to either dal santo or garry ablett, well what ever i want becasue i will have 717k to spend!.

im also worried if mckinley will; get games, he may be a 1-2 game wonder like many other rookies eg: J.Hill

BJ is potentially the highest rish highest reward when considering the guns. I'm not convinced yet, he needs a atleast a couple of good games before I start looking at him.

I've got Roo. He will drop in price a little more this week. He's not a bargain but neither is he a rip off. A little concerned with his couple of lows scores especially against teams he usually dominates like the Doggies and the niggling injury concern is also a worry. Can't really go wrong though.

I'm personally looking at either McKinley/Reimers or Browny. I'm a little concerned about the rookies. Won't be making a decision obviously till Thursday night.

I can't afford to make more than 1 trade. So for me it's a choice between Bradshaw and S. Johnson. Leaning towards Bradshaw because he'll go up in cash and give me some cash in the bank.

Bradshaw is a bit more of a risk, i can't see him getting 100+ every week. S. Johnson is a safer option IMO, even if he has a bad get he will still get you 70 odd.

Yer true, plus he plays for the Cats and I'm all in favour of picking players in teams that win. Even though, they play Sydney this week so I might get him even cheaper next week...

Chapman should go down in price over the next couple of weeks considering his 67 last week and he's playing the Swans this week. But still not probably low enough for a straight swap.
While I'm suprised by Bradshaw's high scores I doubt he can keep it up all season. His high scoring games are off the back of 5+ goal hauls which he obviouslly wont get every game, and unlike Chappy/BJ/Pav you wont see him going up the ground.

Cant decide between Mckinley and Reimers. Mckinley looking good so far but questionable if he can keep it up. The dons injury problems probably lead to reimers' chance of game time. All i have to say about this:

Why Barry, Why?

My team currently is
Backline
Shaw
Cornes
Mattner
Johncock
Milburn
Pfeiffer
Proud

Hansen (NM)
Myers

Midfielders
Ablett
Hayes
Stevens
Boak
Palmer
Houli

Bartram
Ebert

Ruck
Cox
Simmonds

West
Hampson

Forwards
Brown
Pavlich
Chapman
Johnson
Porpylzia
Thompson (NM)
Rioli

Hill
Hall

What re peoples thoughts on where I need to strengthen up with the cash from Bazza Hall???

Hazey your backline is your weakest point by far. Downgrade Hall and ditch one of your 4 rookie backline duds for Gilbee or similar.

I think you need to strengthen up your midfield, i cant see boak, palmer and houli scoring well consistently, i would upgrade one of them before one of your defenders.

Hall out for McKinley seems to be the obvious first trade.

I was hoping Boak might have a break through year, but this doesn't look likely, so what do you think out of K.Cornes, K.Johnson or J.McVeigh from Sydney as the replacement?

Bit hard keeping track when you don't see many games here in London. Is Jarrod McVeigh looking like having a breakthrough year?

I was thinking of trading Big, Bad for either Franklin or O'Keefe.

Buddy bothers me for the reasons mentioned in the other thread - too many clangers - and I'm not convinced he's mature enough yet to keep his current form up for the whole season.

O'Keefe is just a flat out gun, and will be expensive given his efforts so far, but I have cash so I could do it. And with Hall out he might be able to step up even more ... or he might get a lot more attention from opposition defences.

I already have Brown and Pavlich. Riewoldt just doesn't seem to score enough, and I can't see Brad Johnson being a SC star this year. I'm also not a massive fan of Geelong forwards because they share it around with the midfielders too much - no Geelong player has kicked more than 5 in a game for 2 years!!

Fev?

The other possibility is to downgrade him for McKinley or Reimers and store up even more cash for later trading up to gun midfielders. Problem is that with Jetta, Gamble and Dew out I'd have to put them on the field ...

Anyone have any ideas??

im in two minds at the moment:
1. swap hall for o'keffe.
pros
points increase of 26 (going off averages)
only one trade used
O'keffe = gun
Cons
cost 108k out of bank
still playing one short in backline

2. hall to mckinley
L Hanson (nth) to Jake King
bring rioli onto ground
Mckinley on bench
Pros
avg scores increase of 103
Bank increase by 1,400
mcKinley used as cash cow.
cons
two trades (will be down to 14)
king, and rioli still unknown in terms of sustaining form

mmmmmmmmm decisions, decisions.

Hey Sultan,

I'm in exactly the same boat, although I traded Hall__>McKinley as I wanted to see if Hall leaving has any effect on RoK's scores. Also I am hoping RoK will come down in price over the next month or so.

Thus I am now looking at trading out Hansen (NM) to a quality back..... Having trouble deciding who to go with.

Kennelly - Break Even this week of only 37 (TooSerious) and I dont think he will get any cheaper.

Bradshaw - Can he keep up his current great form, if so he would be still worth it at just over $400K

King - As I have been away for a few years I don't know too much about this bloke. Is he the real deal this year and a certain 100 scorer each week?

Ladson - See comments for King.

Goddard - Proven SC scorer from a couple of seasons back isn't he?

Any others you have your eye on mate?
