Shocked I am, shocked

Barry Manilow is speaking out about his sexuality for the first time — three years after he secretly married his longtime partner and manager Gary Keif.

The award-winning songwriter, 73, says decided to remain quiet about being gay for years because he didn't expect the news to hit a high note with fans. Turns out, it was quite the opposite.

Happy for him to finally recognize what most of us knew or suspected. That he felt the need to hide from his fans is the saddest for me. I am sure 99% of his fans would have had very strong suspicion.

Hope he is comforted with the support from everybody

I was more surprised to find out he was still alive
