Didnt hear it in tonights news. Just said Hall has been spotted from Sydney & Bartel was facing two charges. One for unduly rough play and the other for striking

Yep. Have to assume he is home free now (not that I even saw what happened to begin with).

I saw the replay of the Bartel incidents and was a bit surprised that the striking charge wasn't withdrawn once the umpire saw it on tape. There was very minor contact and I don't think it was even a closed fist.

But, given it was Matthew James who gave evidence a few weeks ago that one of our players had no case to answer and that he wouldn't have made a report, Bartel could be in trouble.

The rough play charge could go either way. Wasn't anything malicious or reckless in it, just a bit clumsy. AFL doesn't like high contact like that though, so will probably give him a week as notice to others.

Corey ended up on a melee charge, along with Bartle scoring an impressive three reports for the one match!
