Kerr for? Kornes is the bes option IMO in his form. Even tho he is against Geelong and Freo i like his chances better than Hayes (Playing my Eagles so i dont wanna go him) and Boyd i dont know much about.

I advise you getting rid of him mate..

Look at Pearce's similar situation.. had surgery right after a game, missed the next weekend, played the one after that. So nearly 2 weeks recovery.

Bartel would have only a week, plus he has to go to Brisbane, plus 2 weeks would be 'at best' IMO. AND Geelong wouldn't risk it as top of the table would they?

He's gone for DT 07... Lucky he's worth something.

I think Kornes is the best choice going around atm.
Kornes, Hayes or West (I've been repeating this all week).

Now I'm seriously considering Bartel -> Kornes, then next week I'll have more cash to upgrade my other back.
To trade, or not to trade?
*If I get Kornes, I'll probably make him captain.

Even the AFL website reckons he won't play again. He has to go people if you have the trade.

I agree with you on Kornes Hayes and West - we've been saying that the last few days - though Scotland could be interesting.
 
thank god, i think the gods are smiling down on me.

i have jmac out and my oppenent has bartel, so hopefully this will make it an even contest now since we both have gibbs on the bench.

i hope they do rest Bartel, Geelong definitely don't need him :)

True. And as much as you can have an off-week, a poor team can have a freak week. My GF opponent last year did exactly that :(

Still that's the fun of league over overall ranking IMO. Depth, trade planning, etc etc
 
surely Cornes will go to Ablett, a far more damaging player.

I had just finished settling my team when the news broke. Goddamit. I can cover, just, but its a huge loss.

Exactly. I can cover even if i dont do the Kerr to Kornes trade with Clarke but my main advantage over my preliminary final opponent was the midfield was Bartel, Lappin, Priddis, Hadley (For Kerr) VS. Kirk, Clinton Young, Rodan and Gibbs. (Judd and Simon Black the same)

Now i am forced to do the Kerr trade, dont wanna have 1 trade left with 95k and be out of the running for my league.

We have a guy who won it 2 years ago and since me and my close mate didnt win it last year. He just looks at u and goes "Dream team wins to Ben 1. Dream Team wins to u 0" haha heartbreaker and ive gone undefeated this year. Cmon!
