I think this will be a very big positive for Jimmy - off the field (Obviously) but even on. good to have perspective in things and kids tend to provide that.

Hope this season will then be his big final season - has a really good year and plays in winning finals teams and rejoices this with his partner and child.

As someone with a similar name (mine spelt with an 'i' instead of an 'o'), I can assure you he is indeed forever doomed to be asked: "Oh, like Aston Martin?" whenever he tells someone his name.

Yeah it's the whole (Bogan thing) try and emulate Hollywood stars with made up names, made up spelling of traditional names, or obscure 19th century names. The thing is it doesn't work in Hollywood so I don't know why some parents with five kids named Jaxson, Tylah, Jette, Aayden, and Xac out in the outer burbs somehwere think it'll work for them. In saying that I think Aston and Oscar are alright names.
Anyway if anyone is keen to get in on a bit of fun at this horrible trends expense here's a list of bogans favourite baby names at the moment.
