i'll wager a fair bit that baz doesn't call while watching the game through binoculars, but is calling it off a monitor up there. bruce does the same (as he has admitted at times) and its a dead giveaway

There is a real bad caller/commentator on ABC TV in Perth name of Phil Lamb, if you reckon Basil is bad this guy plays him off a break.

one of the most noticeable thing about old baz, is a complete inability to stand still when doing interviews. even at the brownlow interviews with the swans, he kept moving from foot to foot, jiggling around from side to side throughout. worth recording and watching in fast motion, its like hes trapped in a cement mixer
