He does this '10 random things he has pondered this week' opinion piece in the paper every Friday seeing as it's owned by Channel 7.

It has been a bit of a joke because he is really with thoughts like why do politicians steal and we need to help the elderly etc. Real Walkley Award winning stuff.

A month or so ago he commented that if he was mayor homeless people need to be taken off the streets as they upset 'Regular people' or some ivory tower bullshit. He was jumped on by a lot of people and Seven West Media took advantage of this pumping his tyres to become mayor.

He's a conservative that's for sure. Not sure if there would be a first lady if he was mayor seeing as Amy is alleged to have f’ed half of Perth in the past few years.

There's a lot of 'Hey now!' Hank Kingsley about Basil.

A fair bit of Kent Kingsley too, looking at that last sentence.

Peter Ford said on Monday that Baz is one of a few possible fill-ins for Andrew O'Keefe on The Chase.
Let's fakin hope so. However, Bazzo seems like the type of go-getter who could work 100 hours a week, so he'd probably keep doing all his regular footy stuff

His entire brand is built on being the dedicated working dad. In reality, he works as many hours as possible on the other side of the continent in order to not be around his family. Between his broadcasting and political ambitions, he's basically a low-rent Eddie.
