I wouldn't be telling anyone here anything new by saying that this guy is a tool of the highest order, an egirls sycophant if i have ever seen one, but today i think Basil reached a new level of smarminess. Whilst interviewing Mark Harvey, Basil touched on the subject of Freo's inaccuracy in front of goal. Harvey joked that Basil should come down and show them how to shoot at goal, to which Basil told Harvey that "he always used to pick someone out of the crowd and aim for that person". Does Basil really think in his dazzling career in the WAFL that he would be seriously considered the guy to ask about goal kicking?

Seriously i never go out of my way to watch channel seven (THEY SUCK) and dont deserve the TV rights, but i just found his arrogance absolutely unbelievable. And i have seen him interview John Worsfold, last year when the egirls were bottom and it was the softest, warm and huggy interview i have ever seen a "so called" reporter give to a coach about to collect a wooden spoon.

Does anyone here know Basils WAFL goal scoring stats?

One way of making himself useful, the old Bas, would be to position himself just behind the big sticks at Freo games. Players would be taking his advice and kick 20-30 for the game, no worries.
