On Channel 7 today. I thought it was pretty good. I cheered when Baz questioned our handball happy gameplan and how it's frustrating the fans and Woosha didn't look comfortable at all.

Girls dig the big nose?
but you know what they say about big noses...
its pretty simple really: if you honour the player that has run to back you up with a handpass, then EVERYONE runs and backs up.
and the kicks that do go forward are high effectivness because there has to be a good option for them compared to the player along side.
It hinges on good technique and timing. At times, ours has something ragged and hurried about it. It does not always give the recipient good service.
Dont reduce it, improve it.
Unlucky for him...in that day and age he probably got a couple of lookers..
Could be the money and fame factor too..but you know what they say about big noses...
All about holding possession of the ball until you can get the ball to a designated kicker in space who can kick long to the advantage of the forwards inside 50
Braun (6) Hurn (6) Lynch (5) Waters (3) Priddis (4) Cox (3) Fletcher (3) and Rosa (3) were our leading inside 50 players I believe.
Used to be that we would run with the ball to half forward and either create a stop play (where Judd was always a 1 goal a game certainty) or get any type of a mark inside 50 regardless of it being in the corridor or not.
Now the game is to get a mark at half forward and kick to a big forward who can either bring it to ground and create a goal (Waters 2, wirra 2, lecras 2, Braun 1 Hunter 1, Staker 1) or mark it and convert (Seaby 2, Lynch 1, Cox 1, Fletcher 1)
That is a very Geelong 2007 type way of bringing the ball inside 50 and it definitely helped to improve accuracy as we kicked 14.5, mostly in the corridor regardless of the distance but almost always from a central location.
