I'm only teasing - I remember playing it well into the 90s on a craptactular Epson PC complete with floppy discs.

Used to call it 'NBA Live 89'.

My enduring memory is that only a handful of players could hit a three in that game, and one of them was Brian Shaw

There was some game - 'BasketBrawl'?? - on the SNES which was a bit of a forerunner to NBA Jam.

After Jam they finally got serious about making a genuine NBA game - cue NBA Live, etc.
