Just heard him on 5AA, he sounded pretty disappointed and frustrated about his time at the Power. He seemed to also point to injuries and inparticular pre-season injuries as to the major reasons why he didn't make a good fist of his AFL career at Port. Also mentioned that it probably didn't help to be playing as a forward (mainly) at Norwood while the Power were hoping he would be a defender.

Seems ready to move on and said that his manager has had a "bit" of interest from a "couple" of clubs.

I guess most Port supporters would wish him all the best if he gets picked up by another team, as long as he doesn't perform to well against us.

Always seem to do all that was asked of him when he did play. Always reasonably unfortunate to get dropped IMO.
Possibly didn't do so well in his last couple of games for the club but his form in the 2001 finals should have been enough to keep him on the list for mine.

I thought he had to be at least in the first 26 in 2002 after the 2001 finals. Definitely lost out through the acquisition of Hardwick and the improvement of Bishop. A half-back line of Monty,Bass and the Bish would have been a top defence. Although I didn't hear too much about his injuries. Although the 'Tiser lists AFL players injuries in the season you don't generally hear anything in the pre-season.

i hope the crows pick him up, seen him play quite a few games with the legs and is very good, just like his brother
