Can't help but notice a trend of WA players ranked quite high, while SA players are ranked quite low (I see you mention you haven't seen much of SA, so I guess that makes sense). For example, McDonald, Trew and Winder all seem a little high, while Dumesny and Poulter are both fairly low.

It's nice getting different perspectives, particularly from those outside Victoria - would you say you're watching considerably more of the WA boys, and that's why they tend to be ranked higher than where some others have them, or do you watch a fairly even spread and just feel the WA crop is particularly strong this year?

I like seeing you rank O'Driscoll so high, I think he'll end up the 2nd best midfielder in this group (behind Phillips)

I definitely want to start watching a few more SA kids, Poulter and Dumensy are really interesting players who could end up ranking in my top 20 as time goes on

WA players are definitely my second most watched after Tasmanian products, which is mainly to do with the fact coming from the Freo board where we all hope we get some sort of WA player that doesn't leave after 3-4 years. I really like the crop this year, O'Driscoll and Trew are both quality midfielders and McDonald has proven that he can play against WAFL League quality players after scoring 3 goals for Perth last week. Winder is one of my personal favourites, he really impressed me playing as a Small Forward for Peel last year, but he's managed 32 disposals playing in the guts last week, showing he has some versatility.

Definitely a big O'Driscoll fan, I could see him going top 5 depending on form considering the lack of Victorian football we'll be seeing.

Nice to see Trew rated so highly. I really want him at the Cats.
Trew is up in contention for one of my favourite players in this draft group, just seems to do it all.

Think he'd be a great fit for Geelong's midfield. I think considering a lot of eyes will be on WA colts, with no Victorian football taking place at the moment, that means he could move further up in the top 10, potentially falling out of Geelong's pick range.

Geelong won't win many more games so we're a chance.

Tanner Bruhn seems a little low to me but nice effort all the same.
I think Bruhn will go up in the rankings the more I see of him. He had a pretty quiet game in the Futures u17's last year but he had only just come back from injury at that point. I like his class and averaging 17 disposals from 2 NAB League games when you've been out so long is particularly impressive. My top 10 is pretty set in stone at the moment but he's one of the 3-4 players I can see breaking in over the next few months

A few players I have limited vision of (Particularly the South Australians) and are more based off of reputation then anything.

A few notable players I don't know enough about but would probably make the 50 include
-Jameson Murphy (South Australia)
-Jackson Cardillo (Victoria)
-Max Heath (Victoria)
At best you would have 4 right in the top ten well done on putting it together though, it’s good to know a few people that work at clubs that’s where you still will only get half their intel

I'd definitely love to have more intel from clubs, most of my info regarding where players go comes from talk around people who know the players personally. Definitely harder in Tasmania where you have an average of 2-3 genuine options every year. This year it'll be nicer with Callow/Davis/Walker/Collins more likely than not to get drafted, as well as having some potential rookies in Jared Dakin and Isaac Chugg

Do you mean you only regard 4 of his top 10 as actual top 10 prospects.

Or do you mean where he actually has them rated compared to club recruiters?

I beg to disagree, I think his top 6 are almost certainties and a very good case can be made for Logan McDonald also at this point

What a lovely comment

So swans could end up with 3 top 15 talents? Noice
It definitely looks up for the Swans draft wise!

I think Gulden is underrated and due to size will probably end up going around the 25-40 range, but I think he has all the skills to make it. When he’s on, he’s on an just looks electric at times

Campbell is a fantastic prospect too, showed a lot in the futures games and playing as an underager for the Allies, he’s one of those players who’s just going to get better with age a and hopefully have a fruitful career for the Swans

These are subjective things, and are his ratings, not necessarily where they go in the draft.

Also where they go in the draft is not the same as where they'd be ranked by clubs, needs and all that.

I like to see people go a little away from what others have done.

Kalin Lane once again putting in another good performance for Claremont (15 Disposals, 3 Marks, 3 Tackles and 20 Hitouts), will probably slide into my top 50 in the next update.

Cameron Anderson played a good game too, 19 year old who I was a fan of last year, potential rookie list canidate.

Obviously those two having played Allies last year have proved they can match it with the best so deserve to be up there , this draft will be the biggest lottery in AFL history unless the Vic kids get back on the field

Will make for an interesting 2021 draft as well to watch the players that don't get a chance this year.

2022 too as we don't have the U16's as an idea as to the quality of talent.

2023 even.

2024, 2025, 2026 and, possibly 2027 are the possible sure things I reckon.

We're definitely in for a few years of interesting draft choices

Won't be surprised if we see some blokes who get top 10 in the draft over the next few years that end up looking like absolute duds

It'll be the early '90's again.
