Possibly they were just concentrating on race trim not qualifying.

Aston had a brand new car.
BMW seemed to have a ton of bad luck, like the Nissan.
Audi? Maybe it’s time for a totally new car? I know this one had a lot of upgrades but it didn’t seem to work.
