🤣 really? Do tell.

Clean sweep podium at the bend, fastest time at Bathurst qual, 5 and 5 in the top 10.

Yep such an unfair advantage to GM.
šŸ™„
9 of the last 10 Bathursts have been won by GM, and the 1 Ford did win.... GM fans still whinge about 6 years later.

There were 5 Fords in the top 10 of qualifying last year too, yet absolutely nowhere in the race. There IS an advantage for the GM motor at the top end, its been proven. You dont agree, and thats fine but the results are there for all to see.

Brodie is literally the smartest driver/engineer on the grid, ill take what he says as fact over some nuffy on Bigfooty.

What’s that got to do with this year?

No they aren’t. Clean sweep at the bend. More cars in the top 10 of the championship.

A ford driver who just qualified fastest.

What about the Apex guys? Or Skaife? Or any number of other drivers, teams and commentators who have come out and said Brodie is being strange.

A nuffy? Thought it was ok for me to disagree. Darn it.

Skaife is a GM stalwart whos also a driving force behind Supercars, of course hes going to say that everything is fine.

And remind me again who Scott Pye drives for..... oh thats right.

And what does last year have to do with this year ?? Really.... you cant be that dumb. Qualifying was close last year too, the race was dominated by GM. Could very well be the same tomorrow.

What happened at the Bend is irrelevant, especially given T8 had an absolute mare of a weekend, and Car 1 still finished top 5.

Unlike the ford driver who just qualified quickest.

Not just him.

Well been a few changes since then, should you be calling people dumb when you can’t type sentences with capitals etc?

Ok well let’s look at the championship. What’s that? More Fords than GM. 😮
What happened at the Bend is irrelevant,
The most recent race in the championship is irrelevant. 🤣

The most recent track is about as far from Bathurst in style as one could get, thats why its irrelevant.

If you're picking on grammar, which was 100% on my side BTW, it means you've got very little in your locker. Shouldn't expect much from a guy who listens to Apex Hunters, genuine Kane Cornes areas.

would say it has more to do with this years comparisons than races of the past when there have been changes made to make things more equal.

Wasn’t picking on grammar. You were the one calling people dumb, just pointed out not a good move for someone who can’t type a sentence.

Notice I haven’t name called once.

No errors in my sentences, cheers.

These cars are track specific, hence why Waters and Mostert dominated in Sydney, Camaros smoked the field at the GP and then Ford at the Bend.

But in the last decade, 1 manufacturer has won 9 of the 10 "Grand Final" races. Seems to me thats a sizable flaw.

Not if you want to call people dumb. šŸ‘šŸ˜

So even if you won the championship you would scream it’s unfair to fords because you didn’t win all races?
Are you saying that the sport is unfair to GM too because they didn’t win at the bend etc?

not at all. Look at all races not just the ones lost. Ford did win races too.

Capitals in sentences champ ;)

The reality is, Bathurst is the race that everyone wants to win. To have half the field going there knowing they probably cant win isn't good for the sport.

As for the championship, well Ford haven't won that in 5 years either and if not for invention of the finals, they'd have a tiny chance of winning it this year.

Hell even Jamie Whincup has said there is a Camaro advantage, I dont know what more you need.

Will Brown did well to save that whole thing from being a debacle when Randall was a bit absent-minded there.
Could have been an enormous accident, Tommy is prone to the odd brainfade but I think he was busy prepping for a quick lap and just didnt look around

Closest category in the world, fords either equal or more of them in top 10, yet the blue oval brigade non stop whinge.

Things may change over the decade but that never does.

They make English cricket fans seem well balanced

They talked about this on one of the Apex Hunters episodes. There is a parity ā€œproblemā€ but it’s with Triple 8. They’re just leagues ahead as far as professionalism, culture and money. See what happened when Penske left DJR…

Chevy fans will be complaining next year when the Red Bull Mustang takes piss

Kind of.

In 2019 when the Mustang Frankenstein came out and immediately dominated, the entire red half of field spat it, and somewhat rightly so.

That wasn't just Penske, that was the car. And it was changed almost immediately. I said earlier that this is all Supercars doing, they promised cost saving and absolute technical parity, not just in qualifying, but in racing.

Its not achievable, so Supercars either need to do better with it, or go back to the way it was and teams can engineer their way out of issues rather than sending cars overseas 6 times a year.

Yes T8 are the best in the business, but teams like Tickford, Groves etc arent mugs. I'll be very interested to see just where they sit early next year.
