its the best written of the 3, for a studios first real game its amazing [Yeah i know they did the handheld tie in with Arkham City]. I hope more games use the same system they did for Boss fights because that was the best improvement, and one of the only bad things about the other 2 games. Asylum had moments when it was a drag but still a solid game.
 
I've finished it now and I thought the plot was its biggest strength. It nearly made up for the completely botched optimisation issues.

Now I'll go around cleaning up some of the more interesting side missions and stuff.

Actually I just remembered that after I completed the game, something went wrong and the 'silent takedown' was complete removed from my arsenal. I'd be right behind opponents and the prompt wouldn't come up leading to them of course turning around and shooting me on sight.

Again it is these issues that should've been removed at the debugging phase of development that annoy me.

It's a quality game that deserved more development time to fix some very notable issues.
 
I'm about 30% through, just about to leave the steel mill. I loaded my game today and spawned falling underneath the map! I can't quick travel, reloading my game doesn't help I'm stuck in free fall. After a while I die then come back in the same situation.
Anyone experienced this? There are many people on forums complaining about it, I'm not sure a patch could solve my situation just prevent it from happening again :(

Agree with others. I'm just up to Firefly and want to get through it as quick as possible because I want to know what happens next in the story. It's amazing. Best story of the 3 by far.
 
anyone having issues with the challange maps? i did the 2nd one the one in the GCPD with the prisoners as Deathstroke scored 51000 and then it wouldnt save said i was having connection issues. and then froze. didnt save my score FFS, now it keeps freezing everytime i try the same map 2 times in a row.
 
Annoyed that my pre order for the definitive version was basically "Here's the game, dont know when the rest of your stuff will come in" Has anyone here heard anymore about the definitive version exclusives. Rang EB before this post, nothing to report.

Yeah pretty slack by EB, they are becoming a real pain to shop with.
Made me cancel my preorder and just get it a Big W for $57
 
Any idea how long it takes to get games from OzGameShop after shipment? I'm in WA.

Considering doing an "EB 7 dayer" in the mean time ;)

Sometimes a week sometimes longer. The longest I have waited is two weeks.

With all of the glitches you would be safer waiting for the game to be delivered, hopefully it is patched so there are not as many bugs and glitches present. I got hit with one today and i can't progress further until it is dealt with. Even then i have a funny feeling i'll be required to start again anyway.

Damm that's sux so close to finishing the game too.

Iv'e had the game freeze on me twice today even after i installed it to the HDD. I'm convinced the game is buggy as hell hopefully they bring out a patch.

They must have fixed up the Mad Hatter glitch i experienced yesterday as it worked for myself (and a few others across other gaming forums) this morning.
But the hilarious thing is that i started a second save late yesterday and played throughout the night. Made it to 9% game completion................ load Arkham Origins this morning and the save slot reads "storyline not started" :eek: hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I can continue with my orgiinal game save at least, and i'll be backing it up regularly just in case

Storyline not started is what I got.

I was always going to start another saved game on Hard difficulty, I'm probably mostly just pissed that I have to beat Deathstroke again.
 
Going around cleaning up Network Relays and Datapacks while all the enemies are still easybeats. Although I'm getting smashed by trying to use combos/gadgets I haven't got yet. Not to mention a pathetically small health bar.
