Even now I can go games on the bigger maps getting only around 10 kills but still finishing with 5k+ points.

Same problem when I first started, couldn't kill anyone. You'll get the hang of it with practice. Otherwise, just use your knife/defibs/repair tool/EOD Bot like I do
