Multiplat Battlefield 4

You say that now.

With Fifa 14, NBA 2k14, Batman: Origins, GTA: Online, Path of Exile and AC:BF I think I'll have plenty to keep me occupied.

Didn't like the beta?

I hated the beta for BF3 and to date i've probably put 400hrs into the game.

Never got a chance to play the beta. Downloaded it and every time I would try to join a server it would "load" but nothing would actually happen.

As I said, for myself, I have no interest in it.

I would have loved for them to maybe develop the game a bit bitter than what clearly is going to turn into a COD yearly release. None of the changes that I've seen have really made me think "wow" that's cool so my interest level is non existent. But each to their own in that regard.

I love battlefield but I'll skip this one and maybe 5 (next year) will have more improvements and I'll pick it up. Or I'll pick this one up for under $20 when it goes on sale in 6 months after the initial teething problems it will have.

Fair enough regarding the volume of games. But it's been 24 months since Battlefield 3 came out.

It's also safe to say that BF4 has as many if not more changes than most of those games you mentioned, especially the sports games. Upgraded engine, New UI, Larger squads, dynamic events, greater vehicle customisation, commander mode and more achievements than before.

As for teething problems we'll have to wait and see.

Larger squads and commander mode are parts of the game which should have been in 3 and were in previous titles. The fans (esp. larger squads) all wanted them for 3 but didn't get them. They come out for 4 and are supposed to be "new" ? Ah, no they aren't new.

Dynamic events? Like the big tower which is programmed to fall in Caspian Border. Achievements? You mean those imaginary trophies that mean nothing ? Really? If they wanted they could create 1000 of those, they aren't an improvement.

The only thing you've mentioned that remotely sounds interesting is vehicle customisation. Is that just weapon/armour upgrades or can you actually paint and change a vehicle? Because the weapon/armour upgrades were in 3.

Look I'm not trying to convince anyone else to not buy it, if you want it then by all means go and buy it and enjoy the battle. But this is how I feel about the game sometimes it's nice having a different opinion, devils advocate as you will, to those that are already there.

Anyway, I genuinely hope you enjoy the game and I'll keep an eye on updates but still can't see myself buying this for any more than $20 in about 6 months time.

I'll be hitting it up on the PC on release if anyone is after someone to squad up with. I'm Niximus85 on Origin.

I'll be playing:
Thursday Night
Friday
Saturday
Sunday

I have a mate coming over who'll be joining me for most of that (he has some WoW commitments every now and then), and two more who'll be joining whenever they can throughout the weekend, so we'll generally have space in the squad.

My mate is a bit of a tank whore so we'll probably squad around that. We'd probably go with a couple of engineers with RPG and Stinger until we unlock Javelins and can take out air and armor effectively. We'll need a recon tagging targets too.

Preview of the map Flood Zone (PC Version)
Review of PC, PS4, PS3 & 360 version will be on gamespot tomorrow
Xbox One review at a later date.

I'm so hyped for this, Nov 22 can't come soon enough!

Haha oh wow. It's funny I'm not excited about this game in the slightest dont have any urge to buy it. First time since bc1

No one cares.

PC players on the battlefield forums complaining the game is a stuttering, laggy, buggy mess with maxed out specs.
Looks pretty though.
