This is my first time playing a battlefield game , I've been a COD person since COD4 and must say the game looks absolutely amazing , i don't know what the hells going on I'm sure I'll get used to it . First game was conquest in some city map and just stood there looking up at the choppers crashing into buildings , unbelievable .
Also I know this game requires strategy but I hopped on a quad bike and just went for this flight of stairs and flew over the top of the enemy and the whole time someone was on the back shooting away ! I know that's not much but I was in tears :thumbsu:
Good to see a new convert!! Wait till you get the dirt bikes we had some serious fun with them on bf3. And rigging them up with c4 is always sure to make you laugh :)

I think the main reason I have always stuck to Cod is because of the vehicles in Battlefield and playing conquest just then reminded me of why I strongly dislike them. I'm running around dropping mines everywhere and then shooting my anti tank missiles and tanks are still everywhere. Stupid vehicle whores. I actually refuse to use them as silly as that is.

After getting on BF3, I could not go back to cod. The combat is so varied.

I find the vehicle combat balanced. Be careful about where you put mines and team up with others when taking down vehicles

It's very balanced now, tanks can be coffin on wheels if you have a good squad or a bunch of noobs with that MBT LAW

I guess that's the issue, being the only one actually trying to take down tanks. Doesn't seem too balanced having to put 4 rockets into one by myself but I guess the point is teamwork.

The mines were very effective though.

Yeah the game is built on teamwork. It is a problem if you get on a shit team.

Put them near flags and choke points.

Just had another game where there was constantly 3 tanks/heavy armored vehicles all over my team. Incredibly frustrating spawning, putting a rocket or 2 into a tank and then dying over and over again because my team is getting smashed.

I don't hate the bigger game types, I rather enjoy them as a change up and it's generally good fun unless one team is smashing the other. But Domination still far and away my fave gametype :D

Yep. They weren't as effective on the massive maps but still helpful.

Any half intelligent player would use all the vehicles purely to learn their strengths and weaknesses.

But keep those eyes open and that tiny mind closed big boy.
