I am absolutely loving the gauntlet mode in the Redsec section.
Its such a nice change up to normal game modes.

I really do hope that the next few maps they release for season 2 onwards are quite a bit larger though and they sort out their vehicle play but I'm still having a lot of fun on it.
Gauntlet mode is intense.

I’ve not managed to get into one battle royal game yet, and have tried multiple times over multiple days - with cross play turned off, I must add.

Yeah Gauntlet is definitely not a traditional BF mode and much more suited to CQC, I can definitely see why some people aren't a fan but I like it for a change up.

Interesting, Battle Royal is pretty easy to get a game for PC so I'm guessing the console player base for it is really poor which honestly is surprising.
 
I’ve contemplated turning off crossplay but it’s honestly so much better not being no scoped by someone who’s straffing while jumping through windows. 😂

I swear whenever there is an enemy tank or IFV I'm the only engi on the team trying to take it out.

And it is the opposite when I am driving one, I cop it in every single direction.
I feel similar but I’m the guy repairing tanks while they continually drive off with a quarter health bar, leaving me out in the open and dead in seconds.

And when I’m in a tank, not a spotter or repair to be seen.
 
Played my first game of battle royal last night with a bunch of randoms.

It’s a mess when none of your teammates care to communicate.
 
Unsure if anyone else is having an issue but it seems the sound for squad voice chat is cooked for me.

I cannot hear my squad mates despite them constantly talking, I also cannot be heard. Gone through all the VC settings and have them all set so they should work and they aren't directional/positional based but still nothing.

Dunno if anyone else has had this issue and know of a fix, nothing online seems to suggest others have which is odd.
 
Anyone else just getting heaps of bot lobbies? Trying to play Conquest, Escalation, Breakthrough on any map and regularly get like 10 real players.

Edit: read on, with bots, does that mean all exp still counts?
 
I've only gotten majority bots in conquest if I have cross play off. Otherwise games are almost always full of human players.

Yes, if its "official" mode bots don't change exp gain. Its only going into portal games (I believe) that have different exp rules.

They really need to fix the MR missle exploit. Getting insta killed in a tank is bullshit.
I believe they have disabled the use of it now and will be fixed in the next update...hopefully.


Not sure why people are hating on the assault class, the spawn beacon is as good as ever, the assault ladder is actually super useful to peak from different angles and the traits like faster AR draw times as well as the increased capturing speed for and out of combat status for squad mates is very good.

It’s my least played class by a huge margin, but it can be fun.
I like the spawn beacon and the grenade launchers, but I’ve not once used a ladder though.
It also helps to master the art of “shape shifting” and swapping into a dead support class nearby to give yourself ammo, otherwise you’re cactus.

Yeah ammo is cooked if you're using a second primary as assault. If you only have the one primary, you have normal amount of ammo, which is probably another reason I have the beacon and ladder haha

I’ve just finished the Assault specialist challenge with 60 kills needed from the grenade launcher.

The amount of times I died while waiting for grenade ammo recharge after finding a fallen support class…. 😬

Today, we’ve rolled out a series of changes in relation to Defibrillators, Sabotage alterations, and further Challenge balance changes.

All of the changes listed below are now live and should take effect in a fresh match or upon a game reload.

-Defibrillator Adjustments after 1.1.2.0
After changes to the Defibrillators in Update 1.1.2.0 made them more demanding in terms of accuracy and target range, we've published a backend update to bring their usability back in line with our original intentions.We've increased their effective hit-boxes and range, which should make Defibrillators feel more consistent with previous gameplay.

Sabotage Mode Alteration
As some of you might have noticed, during the side swap segment of Sabotage there was a 60 second delay duration. Upon investigation this delay also conflicted with AFK timer protections that exist in Battlefield 6. We have now rolled out an update which increases the AFK kick timer in Sabotage to 180 seconds.Additionally, we have taken the temporary measure to disable bot backfilling in Sabotage and you can expect to see this reintroduced in a later update.

Additional Challenge Changes
Earlier this month, we shipped our first set of changes to the Challenges and Assignments, which included a total of 90+ adjustments. Today’s update focuses on clearer, more consistent descriptions and criteria across Challenges and Assignments, as well as making some of the following challenges easier to achieve.
Where listed, we have also removed some from being obtainable.

Here is the full list of changes:

Recon 2: Get headshots beyond 150m as Recon.• Challenge and Description Updated to: Get head shots hits beyond 75m as Recon.

Recon Expert 3: Get headshot kills beyond 200m as Recon in a match.• Challenge and Description Updated to: Get headshot kills beyond 125m in a match as Recon.

Deadeye 2: Get headshot kills over 200m with Sniper Rifles• Challenge and Description Updated to: Get headshot kills beyond 125m with Sniper Rifles

Engineer 3: Deal damage to Laser Designated enemy vehicles using lock-on weapons.• This has been removed.

Rapid Fire 2: Get kills beyond 50m with Assault Rifles• Challenge and Description Updated to: Get kills beyond 40m with Assault Rifles

Rapid Fire 3: Inflict damage under 15m while hip-firing with Assault Rifles.• Challenge and Description Updated to: Inflict damage while in ADS with Assault Rifles.

Bullet Storm 1: Suppress enemies with LMGs• This has been removed.

Bullet Storm 1: Inflict hip-fire damage with LMGs• Challenge and Description Updated to: Inflict damage with LMGs

Squad Death Match 5: Enemy Squad Wipes of the whole Squad in a Round• Adjusted to add squad to the criteria

Rush 4: Destroy M-COMs in Rush• Challenge and Description Updated to: Destroy or disarm M-COMs in Rush

Battle Royale 3: Call in three strike packages in a match of Battle Royale.• Added team mates to this criteria

Combat Expert 2: Perform 10 Takedowns in a round• Challenge and Description Updated to: Perform Takedowns

Protection Expert 3: Destroy a Vehicle with the Power Tool.• This has been removed.
