Only played a handful of games last night.

It will keep me interested for awhile, doesn't have the vehicle variety of BF4 though. Not sure how long it will last.

Played a few games just now. Gunplay is leagues ahead of BF4. Feels weird playing a shooter with a combination of solid hit detection and net coding.

Then my son woke up from his sleep so I'm off until tonight, sorry whoever PvtParts_ is on here.

Speaking of netcode....

Just watched this video outlining how BF4 CTE is being patched to tie the netcode upload tick rate to the client's framerate... With the changes to be implemented to both BF4 and Hardline retail.



BF4 launched at 10hz both up and down. It was a steaming pile of shit.
BF4 was patched to 30hz up and down. It was an improvement but ultimately still a steaming pile.

Hardline Beta was 30hz up and down. It too, was a steaming pile.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume Hardline is running at 30hz up/down and no better than the beta.

It will be interesting to see what happens when I get the opportunity to turn my framerate & upload tickrate up to 160+hz to see what happens in game.....

What's with the install times? Took 10 minutes to install the disc and now it's taken 25 minutes on the main menu to install MP and has only done 40%.

yep took a while, played an episode whilst waiting...had to wait for the next episode to install so i could play that whilst waiting...played the second episode then waited about 5 minutes and it was done
