How can the SACA say Shuan Tait is still injured and cannot play a 20/20 match but will then line up for Sturt this weekend?
Surely a 20/20 match would be the ideal format to return? Just seems to me they are mistreating his injury, if he is fit we have to play him.

Another soft performance from the middle order, that's a very ordinary target to defend. Hopefully the Wild Thing is on line and up to speed, otherwise this push for the Twenty20 final could be over already.
Was just listening to McDermott and Wildy and an emailer sent an email in regards to Chris McDermott's parochial stance on picking Graham Manou instead of Ronchi. He put his case forward very well however McDermott laughed it off and called him a goose, saying that if you talk to people who know cricket they rate him ahead of many...

Quite shockingly the win over Tasmania means that, if Victoria do as they're supposed to and beat the Blues, the Redbacks will finish in third spot - the last playoff spot - behind the winner of the Bulls and the Warriors, with the losers guaranteed to have a lower NRR.

mcdermott is the biggest sporting hack on radio. hes more cringeworthy than cornsey trying to talk up soccer.
manou did ok last yr, but he has struggled all his career with consistency with the bat. that 190 was awesome, but he still only avergaes in the low 20s
ronchi averages in the low 30s.
manou is a better keeper, but he'd be batting at 9 in the aussie side.

Not only that, but if the Australian selectors were to change from the decade long policy of the best batting keeper to the flat out best gloveman, he's at least behind Tim Paine.
Exactly, McDermott has been on the Manou bandwagon for at least a year. I can tolerate KG being on the Manou bandwagon but not McDermott as he just spreads the word like he is a know it all. Where as KG just sort of mentions it, for example, 'i have heard Manou is the man to pick from a few sources'
So glad McDermott won't be back in the afternoon for a while after tonight. But does he ever take time off? He has been on all summer and he is going straight into his regular breakfast slot...?!?!?
