I would go as far as to suggest giving ‘Nugget Reese’ a game over some of our batsmen they have been that insipid

As long as we dont carry this type of form over to the one-day format im not bothered, hell its mickey mouse stuff. I know theres some money in it had we been successful but thats the only reason why any team is taking it seriously, otherwise no one could care less.

The crowd was over 8 and a half thousand...but the 5000 person to come on didn't get to bat....well as far as i could see....

Last nights match was the worst Twenty-20 match I'd ever seen. We were absolutely shocking. Sure, WA were pretty bad too (they should not have lost 5 wickets and taken 17 overs to reach our total), but we were worse.

Taity bowled well though. Hope he repeats it against the vics today and gets a recall for the 3rd test. Not much more that he can do......

He looks as if he'll be getting a gig regardless of what he does today. The WACA pitch is going oldschool for this test match and if Hogg couldnt take a wicket on the 5th day at Sydney he wont be taking any at Perth.

Haha. Come to think of it, KFC must have been running a comp to be a 'player for the day.' And looking at some of the players..there was some bloke called Cosgrove that looked like he did enjoy KFC a little. Maybe he was the winner of the comp??

What more does he have to do to earn a place in the Test Match. Dam I hope he plays in Adelaide. Id love to see him charging in opening the bowling from the Scoreboard end on Day 1. The Hill would go OFF!!!!!!!

Settle down. We almost won off the last over, yes we were pretty bad the rest of the game but at least we had a chance.

Well another pathetic performance by our state "cricket" team. Yes we nearly won but once again we found a way to lose a game we had no right to lose. Mcgain bowling from his wheelchair in a 20/20 game and he takes 1/10 ?? Unbelievable. Yes Sir Shaun is a gun but no one else is. Batting collapses galore with some inept bowling are becoming traits.

All that being said it is only 20/20 cricket and it will all mean nothing (pretty well what it does now IMO) if we can continue pulling out results in the 50 over form and make the final.

Reckon the Redbacks should have had a go at beach cricket, but Gooch et al would have beaten them at that too.

You can say what you like about it "only" being 20/20 but winning form is good form. Not good to get into the bad habits plagueing our batsmen in particular at the moment-giving away their wickets far too easily. Have never seen so many stupid shots in 2, albeit abbreviated, games of cricket in the past 2 weeks.
