Anyone give us a chance of even drawing the 4 dayer starting tomorrow?

My only hope is that the Vics bowling doesn't look the strongest without Siddle or Mgain so they may be unable to bowl us out twice.

If Tait, Rofe and Cullen have an on match we're a possibility of taking 20 wickets.

Don't like the look of the batting order though, would much prefer Cooper or Cosgrove to Plant.

Nahh Nahh Nahh... Plant is the bloke who should be leading our Innings, He hasn't played since we were bowled out for ?19? against NSW back in... 03-04 maybe? Cosgrove should bat at 5 or 6 for us in both forms of the game, thats where we would see his full potentual maximised.

Good to see Sorell putting the hard line down, last few seasons Philips and Sorell last season seemed to have Cosgrove in his little love book where he could do no wrong, and he shit on that a bit. Maybe with a firm approach from the coach Cossie might stay motivated... Here is one for hoping...

I actually like the look of our first 5 bowlers this year, Tait, Wise, Rofe, Cullen and Cleary, it;s what follows that that has me concerned...

we won the Under 17's Carnival last January and the January before that.

The Under 19's in the last couple of season have finished second last (2006) and 3rd (2007)
Cosgrove, Ferguson, C. Borgas, Bailey, Cullen, Plant etc. all won junior titles in their era and haven't really gone anywhere. I wouldn't be putting too much stock in the latest set of junior results.

**** me - its going to be a loooooonnnngggg season

0/122

YEP... Maybe Cleary, Rofe and Cullen lack that wicket taking ablility all semi decent bowlers have... I am a big wrap for Rofe and Cleary... but... It may be a road... then we will see how far our batting HAS come along!

Poor form writing us off so early, we have struck back with ANOTHER WICKET! We have now doubled the tally.

2/339. Jewell gone for 164 which may be enough to give himself first innings points. Hodge is 93* so should get yet another ton against us.

D Hussey is in as well, their best two batsmen, hooray.

They have a few blokes out as well like Siddle, McGain and of course Sachin's nemesis Cameron White.

I bet Klingon and notsoWise are regretting the move west.

WOAH !!! 1 whole wicket, we really are the mecca of cricket

They have changed everything at the SACA apart from Mike Deare and Ian Mcglauclin. It is time for them to move on. We need to get some new blood into the SACA, a new group with vision. We don't like the old Adelaide Club ruining South Australian Cricket. Just look on a couple of Decisions, letting Ryan Harris move to Queensland and getting some hack to take his place, recruit a Pakistani, (what for?) let us have proper development programs and watch South Australian's playing test cricket for Australia. When did we last have a player who consistently played for Australia. What about the proposed development of the Adelaide Oval. Crap design non-imaginative, boring and a complete waste of money. Get those old men to take their pensions, get some visionaries in there and lets develop Adelaide Oval Properly, make into a world class sporting arena with a roof, develop the surrounds including Elder Park and make it a meeting place for all South Australians, just like Federation Square in Melbourne.

In South Australia, we are conservative and lethargic content to be mediocre. Unfortunately that is reflected in the outlook of the city, the economy and our sporting results. Let us get some balls kick some ass and do something!!

Good to see a couple of guys dig in atm. I'd rather accrue runs slowly (to begin with) than go out trying to score 4 an over and lose wickets.

1/101

Plant batting reasonably.

Well, maybe it was just a road.

Has been along time since I can remember the DeadHacks being 1/100!

Klinger looks like he should be a good pick up for us. How may of our batsmen scored a ton last year. He is on 130* odd not out, and has been batting solidly for almost a whole days play. :thumbsu:

Finally a recruit that does something for us! Hopefully Younis can too. :)

Went to the middle session and Klinger looks very solid:thumbsu:

Having said that however I want to know who rooted the umpires wife, 5/7 wickets LB!
