Cameron Borgas..... hang your head in shame.
That was absolutely pathetic. Game on the line, big partnership just broken, needed to consolidate. So he goes and takes a massive swipe like that.
Great knock from Cossie. Such a wonderful talent, if only he was more commited.
Adcock was decent, terrible way to get out though.
Harris just played a ridiculous shot.

Much more impressed by the effort.
I'm not one to support mediocrity, but this season is looking bleak so far.
Positives:

- Cossie showed just what he can do, needs to do it more often though
- Adcock played a decent innings, until wrecking it with a ridiculous shot
- Delmont looks talented, only made 13 and showed his inexperience by the way he got out, but he's definitely one for the future I think

There were quite a few positives yeah. I mean Harris bowled quite well at the death. Just shows what a guy can do when the entire attack isnt resting on him when he just isnt a main strike bowler. Delmont will be better for the experience, Adcock played a good knock before throwing it away as did Cossie and I also thought Dan Harris looked OK before he got that ripper.
Bad points were the way in which most of the guys got out, Cossies petulance again (for those who can lip read), Manou just isnt good enough and Dizzy appears to be really struggling. His wife did have a baby last night so he was more than likely up at a late hour but he didnt look like troubling anyone after the first 4 overs.
And then theres the fielding. Not just the dropped catches but this missed runouts. Surely they have to throw the stumps down once. Pathetic.

I went to the game yesterday, it was an enjoyable game to watch albeit a little bit cold.
For me we never really looked likely to win it. Even when we were travelling nicely you looked at the batting order and we were one wicket away from being in deep shit. As it turns out I was right, Borgas has got to go, 3 ducks in a row, I can understand it if he is unlucky, if he gets some unplayable deliveries but he is just batting poorly, no footwork at all.
Glad to see Tait back in action, the man draws people to the game.

The sad thing is Boof won't be around forever. His body is starting to feel the wear and tear. The young blokes have to step up because we are relying on too few to do the job.

Exactly. At the moment we are relying on an ageing star (Lehmann), a highly talented but overweight, inconsistant, petulant batsman (Cossie), a quick who wont be in SA colours much (Tait), a few guys who have a bit of talent but cant be the "gun" players, and a fair few who have nothing to offer. Its a sad state of affairs.
