did you see it? I watched the beginning of the days play at Glandore before I had to play and it wasn't all that exciting. Cleary bowled well but didn't get a wicket while i was there. How did Chad Parrish bowl?
a couple of queries...
Why isn't ferguson getting looked at for a spot at the moment, remember watching him play and thinking he had something special, also, why are a few A grade teams not playing over the weekend, I didn't notice a prospect result in the paper at all??
Ferguson just aint making runs.
simple as that
Ferg was shattered to miss out on both games. Not happy at all.
Wasn't that bad in the end.
Feel for Borgas 3 ducks in a row and a dropped catch.
At least Captain Dudcock did something.
The team will actually look alright with Boof coming into the middle order![]()
Disagree it was antoher mental disintergration. We were 2 for 150 and cruising and got soundly beaten.
Terrible shot by Adcock and even worse shot by Borgas first ball. Cosgrove batted very well but lost concentration (even though unlucky to be given out). Our middle order then crumbled again.
A very poor performance really in a game we should have won.
Pathetic is a bit strong. It is true that there are less 27+ year olds staying around the grade scene (preferring to retire or to take the $ at a turf club and this is no different to any other state) but the quality of young cricketers coming through is as good as it has ever been. The problem is that once a player performs well in grade cricket and makes their first class debut they usually perform fine initially but it is in their second, third and fourth seasons of first class cricket that they're stagnating and going backwards. We've seen it with Ferguson, Plant, Cullen, Ben Cameron and perhaps now with Jason Borgas. That can't be grade cricket's fault. And CS the standard of Grade cricket isnt the be all and end all but it really is pathetic and can't be helping our guys at all, especially the few that do have a decent attitude toward the game as well as talent.
Nether is anyone else in the SA side – that’s the point.
Changes need top be made and Ferguson should be given an opportunity

When people see the Redbacks perform badly the blame typically shifts to Grade Cricket, which I think is misguided and an absolute cop out. I think they should really dig a little deeper for the reasons why.
Na disagree; Cosi was plum but agree with the rest that we are mentally weak with the bat in our hands.
Dietz made 80 odd in the XXXX gold one day cup yesterday
