He's just made more runs in one innings than for the rest of his entire career. Plant once again grinding out a score. He is like many of the Redback batsmen in the sense that he isnt overly blessed with talent, but unlike his counterparts he has a lot of heart and a lot of fight. Surely he has to get a spot in the side now, although I wouldnt think we're going to change a winning side.

Our winning side just retired :(

Thats all it was really. "Lets win this one for Boof" was going through the minds and now he's gone theres nothing left for the guys to fight for. I mean the bloke made 170 out of 400, Feg and Herbie make 130 between themselves, that leaves around 100 for 8 batsmen which isnt great. That said, we did bowl well and with Taity coming back in he should add a bit. We're running into a side in the Bulls who are bottom and are looking to make a statement with their Aussie players and Noffke coming back in...... this could be a long match for us.

Deitz
Elliot
Ferguson
Cosgrove
Dudcock
Delmont
Manou
Harris
Gillespie
Cullen
Tait

Rofe (12th)

I'd swap Harris and Rofe around. I've always thought harris was tremendously over-rated and as said earlier, Rofe would be a perfect foil for Dizzy and Tait, In the same way McGrath was in tests for so long (obviously glen is in a class of his own though)

Good to see Cam Borgas getting some form back, was the pick of our youngsters over the past couple of seasons so it was sad to see him hit a rut this season.

I would have said exactly the same thing a month ago. But for mine Harris has well and truly exceeded expectations this season with the bat and ball. Definitely worth keeping. However I also agree that I'd like to see Rofey play.

Hopefully Tait can get called up to the Australian squad to make this happen.

Or to play devil's advocate ... Deitz to take the gloves and one of Diz or Harris to bat at 7 in Manou's place and we go in with a 5 man attack? It's not like they'd do a hell of alot worse ...

QLD 308 - SA 0/33
Tait 3/69
Dizzy 2/54
Adcock 2/26 off 4:eek:
Harris and rofe one a piece

With the bat, Deitz 16no and Elliott 17no after 10 overs
and manou got injured so boof fielded:D maybe coming out of retirement??? lol :thumbsu:

Captain Dudcock just keeps finding ways to keep his spot:(. Gee couldnt we have picked someone a little more agile to sub field ;) Good to see him out there anyway.

The last score I saw was when Qld were 4/218 after being 4/100 or something like that so they mustve had 2 collapses today. Oh well cmon lads keep building after last week and show us it wasnt a fluke !!!

Very good opening stand. Now enter The Fatman and lets see if he can get us some runs for a change. Or is Ferg coming in at 3 this game ??

SA 4/197 (54.0 overs)
Adcock out for 10
Manou and Delmont at the crease, not sure what us wrong with Cosgrove, yet to bat, listed to come in at 3, but no sign of the fat boy yet.
