Well 16 points againts a second rate side and in my opinion why in the hell reggie played its a joke needs a run in the reserves timmy I thought struggled against a very average side but a very dull game And will be interesting to see how bazza comes up walked of with a limp medial strain will go for scans tomorrow

Hall hyperextended his knee unfortunately :( but at least we won. Lets hope to see Hall in next week against the lions

saw plenty of slo-mo footages of Bazza doing his knee. Doesn't look too good. :thumbsd:

I know some people might kill me, but let Bazza rest and hopefully he can recover from this knee injury. We have plenty of forwards who can fill bazza in (not saying they can fill in his shoes though). Enter Grundy, Vogels...

don't know how he went. didn't watch the match. :( everitt or richards can replace bazza, IF he doesn't play next week that is.

Watched the news just then, something to do with his medio-lateral.

Yeah, shame about Grundy today. I think they needed to give him a few more weeks in the reserves before they brought him in.

I wish Barry wouldn't have come on the field in the second half. They should have kept him rested.

A bit harsh on Grundy. He's had a back injury for quite a while. Probably should of had a game in the reserves though

**** me dead. i swear, some posters on this forum are real ********s. i don't know where they get the news that bazza will be out this season.

listening to roos' interview after the game, it was something to do with his medio-lateral (grade 1/2. **** these people jump onto conclusion.

****s me to hell when they say 'no hall= no sydney' **** off. I'm so angry at the moment, we don't bloody hell depend on hall. we have plenty of decent high quality forwards (Magic, ROK, Snides, Davis, Richards, Everitt) and heck some of our defenders can kick goals too you know.

Its on the main AFL board. 'Barry Hall out for the season'

bull****. some people are already making up rumours that he has torn his ACL. source pleasE???

edit: sorry, its a medial ligament strain. the severity is said to be grade 1 or 2.

These w@nkers on the main board are just scared of playing us, and think they will have it easy if Hall is out.

does anyone know the actual status of his injury?

I'm GUTTED if he's out for the season like the knob jobs are saying on the main board.

they are ****ers of the highest order to want a player to suffer a bad injury

Hope its only a medial ligament and only need the week off ;)

never listen to them. i seriously don't know where or how they got these information about him being out of the season or got an ACL. Its really stupid stuff. Barry Hall was walking, cheering and thanking the crowd after the game!!! if he copped a season ending injury surely he would be in the change rooms and not celebrating a win!!!

Yeah, cool. That was a frightening thing for me to read and I couldn't find any other information on the net, so i appreciate you setting me straight. :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

I really hope bazza is fit for next week, i hate seeing player injuries unless of course its a scum player like jeff farmer.

A medial collateral ligament for a grade 1 or 2 tear means about 2 weeks on the sidelines if i remember correctly.

wouldn't a grade 1 or 2 mean a strain? Either way, i think it would be sensible if we let Bazza recover from this ligament strain or whatever it is. Its time to give other forwards an opportunity to play, cos when Bazza and Mago retires, its scary to say that the forwards won't have enough experience to play at the senior level.

Not at any moment am I suggesting that Hall is out for the season but listening to Doc Larkins do his wrap up before the game today on Triple M, he said his initial thoughts was it was an ACL due to the way it hyper extended and he said that the fact he kept playing on and was still walking was no sure bet that his season wasn't over. He sighted Lenny Hayes and Alan Didak as prime examples of this as they did their knee but actually played on the rest of the game. He should have scans this week and all will be known, Larkins did wrap up the review with the most probable outcome was a medial strain and that was because he had faith and highly respected the Sydney doctor .
