As for the incident involving Mikey and Gretel, i can't believe how unprofessional and downright selfish she behaved on live national television. First of all she asks Michael a question, fair enough, and in response Michael attempts to reply with an answer until she cuts him off (one of numerous times i might add) halfway through an explanation. In addition, once she finally gives Mikey the chance to speak she blatently lies to the viewers in an attempt to shoot down Mikey by claiming Big Brother don't edit footage. It was obvious she knew he had caught her and the production staff behind Big Brother out over the fact that they edit footage, so she tried the counterclaim stating he hadn't seen the facts in question to comment.

I mean, how dumb and niave does Gretel believe the viewing audience are not to know that a big part of Big Brothers role in providing the viewers entertainment on TV is to edit out recorded footage which is deemed to be inappropriate or not falling under entertainment purposes. Does she believe 13 year olds only watch the show? Pfft! And the fact that she dismisses Michael's claims by stating she has 'worked on a show for 6 years' is totally irrelevant. If she had any ounce of knowledge she'd realise there is a difference between hosting a show, which for her involves solely reading off cue cards, and working in the production side of BB. I'd really like to know how then BB manages to televise 30 mins of footage from what would seemingly be 24 hours of footage recorded. I'm sure the braintrust at BB are familiar with the terms editing and selective reporting, have you heard of these at all Gretel?

But what takes the cake is how her attitude and behaviour did a complete 180. What's more is how she had to be FORCED to apologise by the wise voice in her ear rather than being able to view for herself that the way she acted and went about interviewing Michael was simply inappropriate. To be honest i wasn't all that phased about Gretel as a host at all, but after her outburst in this situation my respect for her, moreso as a supposedly 'professional' host, has all but disappeared. Purely shameful and unprofessional.
