Where's the free hit

You know for teh stats

Shaun was IPL MVP one year, but that year was 2008.
He's not the player he used to be.

Mind you, i'd take them both over Cartwright and Bosisto.

He's one of the best T20 batsmen ever. Averages nearly 40. Even at the waning end of his career, no way you'd call him an ordinary T20 batsman.

Mitch averages 30 with the bat, which is pretty handy.

That was pretty tight. It was Turner that got hold of Beer in that over,20 runs.

Not entirely. The required run rate before that over was still less than six per over.

Turner's effort against Beer dropped that down to three but they would still have won the game had Turner not gone to town on Beer

It was a big turning point because at that stage the scores were level in the comparison, so at the same time the Stars ****ed up with the bat, Beer threw it away with the ball

A timely reminder that Michael Beer and Nic Maddinson have represented Australia in test cricket.

The funniest part of this is now that Maddinson is representing Victoria at state level, the Victorians on this forum are bigging him up and pushing for him to get another chance at test level based on one decent innings in the shield. This is after they all kicked him whilst he was down and scrubbing it up for NSW and Australia

Yep I remember it very clearly - all posts were about how corrupt the selectors were with Mark Waugh having a crush on him and bringing him into the Test side prematurely.

Literally none of them have said that but keep your hatred for all things Victoria going.
