They had Shinwari and Ashraf I think before they got selected for Pakistan so probably weren't expecting to need another international.

Gleeson has looked awful from day one and doesn't have a good T20 record so seems like a strange signing. Not sure if he had a good T20 season in England recently or what that decision was.
